Hi again Friends,
Yet another treat I'm making available today. Real, NOS GM door weatherstrips for a 1969 Camaro - coupe or convertible of course... 1968 too. Not much to be said abut these - these things are one of the items that the reproduction market has yet to get good at, IMHO... nothing beats NOS GM for soft rubber parts, again, just my opinion. Every time you shut your door you will thank yourself that you popped for these. There is only one tag, for the left hand side, the 7719477 and it's dated 10-07-77 - the other side has been with it the whole time, it's the right side, 7719476 and is also certainly genuine as leather, but the tag is long gone. They've been stored properly and are as soft and supple as they were 47+ years ago. One has a minor mark as shown, I'm sure that's not damage per se, but a manufacturing flaw likely. They have the correct (and color) nubs - those little devils that usually prohibit reusing these strips no matter how carefully we try to remove and reuse them. Significant cars like ours deserve these parts. Nothing compares to GM weather strips. Many photos below for the whole description - and I've shown them flexed too. No issues with these, these are ready to be installed. Finally. These the same for 1969 TA T/A Trans Am / Firebirds too? I would guess so...
