This marvelous 1946 Ford Tudor Custom 2-dr Sedan is a one-of-a-kind restomod and part of the MS CLASSIC CARS “NO RESERVE” Collection. The goal of this build was to create a show quality and user-friendly vehicle that checks all the boxes. It’s the perfect vehicle to enjoy with friends with its spacious interior and modern conveniences. Since completion it’s been driven 11,600 miles which is a testament to its character. The exterior is total eye candy with its stylish design and color combination. During the body work process the front marker lights, door handles, deck lid handle and rear tail lights were shaved for a clean appearance. The rear bumper was also removed. The body is very straight throughout with nice gap lines. The hood, doors and deck lid close nicely. The body was re-painted in Barrett Jackson Cobalt Blue which is eye popping. The deep paint was recently detailed to a brilliant shine. The paint was decorated with a light blue pin stripe which looks beautiful. All of the windows were replaced new and are slightly tinted. Everything on the exterior was restored or replaced such as the rubber trim, chrome strips, wiper arms, front end trim, headlight bezels, chrome grill with red trim and lower trim. Some of the custom exterior features include the side mounted antenna, LED headlights, painted front bumper, LED rear tail lights and LED third brake light. It has a great stance on era correct 15” red steel wheels with chrome trim rings and Ford center caps. The wheels are wrapped with Toyo Extensa A/S whitewall tires that are 225-75-15 at all four corners. The fully custom red leather upholstered interior is spacious and loaded with options. The red headliner fits perfectly and there are two dome lights on the center pillars. The fabricated red dash is trimmed with silver accent strip that looks like it’s been machine turned. It’s been outfitted with extremely comfortable front and rear bucket seats with seat belts for all passengers. The floors were covered with plush carpeting and molded floor mats. Some of the custom interior features include a chrome rear view mirror, 3 Autometer black gauges, red tilt steering column with billet levers, Banjo steering wheel with black wrap and V8 horn button, Vintage Air Conditioning, power locks with remote poppers, power windows, pedals, Sony head unit with door speakers and rear tray speakers. The custom full length matching center console houses the AC controls, rear camera screen, custom shifter, two front cup holders, cell phone holder, arm rest and storage compartment. The rear passenger area is very spacious and the large quarter glass provides great visibility. The center console in the rear is also equipped with cup holders, arm rest and storage compartment. The trunk compartment was boxed and a custom battery box was integrated along with a power cut off knob for storage. It’s equipped with an Optima Red Top battery with accessible charger and cord. Everything was then upholstered in matching red leather and plush carpeting. A separate trunk compartment light with switch was installed for night time usage. The engine compartment is nicely detailed throughout with many custom touches. The back side of the hood and firewall was painted body color and then dressed with mirrors like a jewelry box. The car is powered by a GM 350 crate engine that was painted red. The engine was outfitted with Edelbrock aluminum heads, red finned valve covers and air cleaner. It was dressed with a polished carburetor, chrome AC compressor, pulleys, brackets and alternator. The engine is cooled by a new radiator with Cooling Components fan shroud, chrome front housing and overfill canister. The engine breathes through custom headers and dual exhaust system with cherry bomb style mufflers. The engine runs and sounds awesome. The engine is coupled to a 700R4 automatic transmission that was recently rebuilt by George’s Transmission. It’s equipped with a transmission cooler which is mounted in the front for air flow. The power is transferred to the Ford 9” rear end with 3.73 gears. The undercarriage is also nicely detailed throughout with many custom touches. Everything was painted silver for clean appearance and insulation was added to the floors to keep the cabin cool. It’s equipped with a Mustang II front end rack with power steering and adjustable coil over shocks. The rear is setup with shocks and sway bar. It’s also equipped with power front disc brakes, new fuel tank and lighted license plate. Additional LED lights have been placed under the hood and wheel wells for night time cruising. This car has been completely serviced and detailed which is documented with an invoice that’s included.
