It's Time...
Spring has arrived...flowers are blooming, the birds are singing and Karen's 2002 Berger came out of its sleeping bag today ...time to get it ready for another season of fun
But, I think 'it's time' for a new set of tires...her car still has the factory delivered rubber on all 4 corners. The car only has about 12,000 miles on it. The current shoes are BFG G Force...275-40ZR17's... So, what do we replace these with to get equal or better performance...??? Would appreciate some learned guidance.. thanks -wilma

In the past I would have recommended Michelin Pilot Sports, wore out a couple sets. Then they stopped making my favored tread in my size, Tried their "improved" tread style, ditched them after 30K because I couldn't stand the noise. My size (245x40R18) has limited availability, went with Continentals, happy so far. Check with Tire Rack for recommendations and customer reviews for your car.
Still like Michelins for my truck though. |

I love the look of the Berger SS's. The wheels are killer! We have always used Nitto 555's
My wife still has a Berger plate frame that Denis Barker gave to her for her NBM 2000 Z after her car was rear-ended at GM Carlisle in I think 02 or 03. Post up a PIC! Scott
