This is a fresh pair of 3964290 cylinder heads for a Big Block Chevy engine. These were used on 1970 oval port applications. One is dated J 11 9 and the other is dated C 4 70.
These heads are freshly built and have not been used since being completely gone through. They were bolted on an engine and removed before the engine was ever started. The heads have all new guides, hardened seats throughout, positive style valve seals, new stainless valves, new springs, Manley guide plates, and new rockers. The exhaust ports have some surface corrosion. I pulled the valves on the chamber that had the most exhaust port corrosion and the seats are still excellent. I will even include the new head bolts. $800 I also have a nice used set of 3904290 heads dated L 18 9 and L 29 9. They look to be fairly fresh and have hardened exhaust seats. Those are $600.
