You can have them plated the problem being pits etc and if they round htem too much from polishing, there is a profile difference in assembly line originals vs later otc GM and reproductions

----Potmetal with pits is the PITS!!! Very hard to find a plater who knows how to correctly fill pits before plating. Add what 1st gen says to the equation and you can see the difficulty. The few platers who have told me they can do it give me back something worse than I gave them in the 1st place......Bill S
