Dan actually has 2 1968 L-78 Nova's for sale. 1 is White & sold at Reedman Chev and I think it has the orig drivtrain. The 2nd is Teal Blue, sold at Stockton Chev, has original Calif black plate and has an alum headed L88. Both are 4 speeds

No idea what the price range is or what level of resto is needed

I think only 617 L78 Nova's were produced in 1968, far less than 69-70

I have talked with Dan multiple times about these rare 1 year only 1968 BB novas. He is very knowledgeable about 68 novas. I have never seen the 2 cars he has listed but from what I am told by Dan they are the real deal, no question about it. He has a lot of history on his cars and he was the third and now the seventh owner of his white one. How cool is that! If you are looking for a 1968 BB nova either one of his cars should be considered. For the record 667 375 hp cars where built 50 where copo cars. So Dan actually has 2 of 617 cars built. Enough said.

+ 1 to vouch for Dan. Great guy who will share any knowledge he has, and he has helped me in the past.

So, not a yes by Joel then?

BTW, As you say, each to their own opinion, and some of us do not put much credence in what Dan says.

Remember the Dick Harrell Chevelle story?

https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbt...481#Post385481

Roger was given the lead to find his car by Dan. Without Dan's lead, Roger may never have found this car, and proven that COPO chevelles were in fact made in the Kansas plant.

Say what you want, but Dan has had a positive impact on the community.
