Hey Dave, I see you are 15th on the list....saving the best for last!
15. 1:30 & 4:00: ONE MAN’S DREAM; The Creation of the 507. Learn how and why Dave Molnar built the complete car of his dreams literally from the ground up. I would have loved to be there and meet you and to see this beautiful creation of yours but I have another trip booked at the same time to visit my sister out in British Columbia who is suffering from a rare form of leukemia. Maybe next year you will return with it all painted and the interior fully completed?? I just want to wish you the all best at MCACN, you going to blow them out of the water! Safe travels.

 Yes, in regards to presentations and such, I'm not sure what Bob was thinking about why anyone would want to listen to me blab about this.... twice!! I was only informed of this executive decision a few hours ago. But, fear not! I have plenty to talk about yet will say the least amount of tangible fluff relating to anything educational which will leave most scratching their head in disbelief as to why I was given a microphone in the first place!  Big news today though. I was able to finally source a passenger side outer grille surrounds which leaves me missing only the driver's side. That will complete all required trim items for final assembly/paint next year! Woohoo!  Best part is this is a hand crafted part from 1959 from the fella that made this for a particular car. The inner grille is made from Martelleria which is the company that restores them for BMW. Just one more part time find, or I may try and make the other side myself. In other related news, the car left for Chicago today. First time is been out of my sight, ever. Here's what one looks like without a 507 in the garage.  See you in a few days!  No, decided not to bring it this year, Mitch. One less thing to have in the way. But if asked to return to the show with a finished car, then it'll be with me the next time it comes to Chicago. He was already in the car making engine noises before I got there!!
 Gonna be a fun weekend! We arrived on runway 28C at ORD which puts us just South of Rosemont. This picture looks North up River Road, convention center on the right above the trees in the lower right side of the pic, and a few hotels right across the street as you follow the elevated pedestrian bridge over the highway. 66 degrees.
