Cool, could you tell me what the measurement from the pit to the end of the sleeve is? Also the measurement from pit to bottom of jacket.
Thanks
Steve

[/ QUOTE ]

It's about 21.5" from pit seam to end of cuff and about 16" pit to bottom of jacket..

Pete, any shots of that jacket being worn by vintage racecar drivers?

I've never found any pics showing a Motion Jacket...shots w/ similar ones worn by Fred Gibb and other racers of the day but nothing of a Motion one?.
If anyone has some pics they can post, please do as I'd be interested and sure love to see them!.

This is a genuine era jacket w/ original Motion patch and not a repop jacket or patch...I got it w/ the Motion patch on it and only removed the extra patches as mentioned previously..

On the bidding, I've waited a bit as I had PM's w/ intentions to bid that haven't showed...also considering it's all about the cause and not the item, I was really expecting there'd be a few more lads here that would join the bidding?.
But to be fair to Tarrytown and anyone else who may want to bid yet, lets say tomorrow it ends and whoever has high bid in at Noon 'site time' is the winner!.

Thanks fellas!

~ Pete

Looks like we're past the Noon site time, so Tarrytown is the winning bidder on the Jacket!.

Thanks fellas...and lets all do any more we can to help this family and their lad!.

PM me your mailing address Tarrytown and I'll pop the Jacket in the mail to you...I expect it's best to forward your winning bid donation directly to the family through the info provided at the beginning of this thread..

Pete, I know the pain of parting with those goodies, but the joy of helping another is great.
Thanks to those who paid for the donated items.
