Yes, You are correct Rich, The photo of the car with the Magnum wheels was the Metro Burn Unit Show in Parma on Chevrolet Blvd. I believe that was 2004.

I remember going to a little car show on 71, maybe Strongsville K-Mart, about 20 years ago. There was a nice, original black paint Copo Camaro, with white interior, 4sp-30k miles. Tried to buy it, offered what he thought it was worth. He thought about, but decided he wasn't ready. Nice car.

That was Brunswick K-Mart. A lot of us were “regulars” back then. I know the car very well, it’s moved on. This is still one of the largest, and oldest weekly get togethers. Once billed as the largest unorganized car show in the world. It’s roots go back to the 1960-70’s Manners Big-Boy and even Hot-Rod magazine.

You guys are making me jealous. I grew up in Winnipeg where there's a huge car culture and street scene still to this very day. I moved west at 25 and found a hot Saturday night scene here in Calgary but that died off 20 years ago followed by the local track closing up 7 years ago.
Car shows are all that's left here and they bore me with so many late model cars showing up over that of the real muscle cars that are stowed away in urban garages. I wish there was still a street scene here. Smaller demographics over your major US cities and shorter seasons makes it a tough go. Ocean City, Pavillions, Street Machine Nationals, MCACN, SCR, Woodward, Pigeon Forge ETC ETC. For that I am truly envious.

Big thank you to Mike Angelo for the complimentary Ed Stinn decals which arrived Friday. They'll be put to good use on this little Nova when I get it cleaned up. Been taking stock of what's needed to put some things back to stock. Looking for a clean engine bay harness, cowl panel and wiper arms, and it will need a complete inner heater core as that was removed for weight back in the day. Maybe once I add that and the new motor with those heavy orange headers, it'll add enough weight to drop the front end some. The Crossram will also help add some weight. Here's another picture I found with Cragar's on it. Should be picking up the Cragar"s from Sam next week.
![]() (Thanks very much Mike. And you too Rich for the offer of the docs. Two great guys from this site) ![]() This was another shot Gary Cunningham took of the car when he had it.
