Which one does the owner of the barrett jackson auction own?. I know his is a purple one with a white interior as he had it on one of his shows. He said that it dosent have the right motor but he did find the original one overseas. Is this one of the imports?. Is it a 70 or a 71? :

In late 69 you could get a body colored shaker up til around the beginning of calender year 1970, then they were argent silver for the ease of the assembly line workers. In 1971 they were black.

it looks like the 71's have been accounted for. Guessing that 70 Hemi rags are equally scarce has there been any discussion if they've all been accounted for or have any slipped thru the cracks?

I have always been told the only color keyed shakers were on red cars. Aside from that, argent silver for 70s and black for 71s.
I have 1 of each.

1 red auto and 1 4sp winchester export.

and they get driven.....

i think six pack cars will catch up to the Hemi cars.
there was a 70 Moulin Rouge(?)black top six pack R/T Challenger making the show circuit in the south.i saw it in Chattanooga around 1990.
car was hauled in a closed trailer, cordoned off from the crowd, had 14K on the clock.
not a shaker car,but EXTREMELY nice and everything original.
