Thanks Ed. Did not see that. Looks like a deal was made after the auction.

After reading through the thread a few times I only see a picture of trim tag that shows X66 and read X66 in one of the descriptions as well.

Where is the L89 with the X11 tag that was changed to X22? Two different L89 cars being discussed or perhaps just a typo?

I am confused.......

I thought the same thing - X11/X22/X66?? - I am not a Camaro guy so much - thought it was just me......

There was a well known Orange X11 convertible which was transformed into a documented numbers matching L89, a while back.

There was a Lemans Blue Black L89 Clone and a Silver L89 clone done here in Chicago, but the colors don't match this one.

The info is already getting butchered up, X11 to X22......when this Camaro has an X66 tag.

So what is the straight scoop?

On page 2 of this thread there is a picture of the X66 Trim Tag for this car. Ed

Has anyone figured out if we are still talking about the car in the original post on this thread? Mecum car with the X66 tag that sold. That is a good tag on that car. Has someone mixed up the stories?

Reading this thread... I feel the line between real and clone just got more muddier. If this car has "all" the right paperwork and it sure 'passes' the experts for the most part here.. It is darn close to being a real car.. It is a beauty
