I understand the car is being picked up by the new owner tomorrow morning with the help of a recent Gold Spinner winner. Congrats on your newest purchase. Well now atleast you`ll have two Green Chevelles to your stable and 2 POST CARS! Enjoy.

Dan.

Doug, sorry to hear that your friend drove all that way for nothing.
I am not suprised.
Kind of reminds me when k92 posted a camshaft for sale here some time ago for for best offer. (before prices had to be posted)
I think I offered him 225.
After no response to my offer he puts the cam on ebay and it does like 230.
i think he used my offer as his reserve.
real class act.
some people contribute nothing to the site, the club, and the shows.
k92's post on this site are only in the for sale sections or in the restoration section so he can ask for free advice to help him with his car.

AGAIN, if you have a problem with Rob, take it up with him. A public forum is not the place to do it. Grow up. Nobody wants to hear it.

Shor, that is exactly what happened to my friend..he goes all the way over there works on the sale, and the seller ignores his 5-6 phone calls while he is in Peoria, then takes the call the next day at 9AM after a few more calls, then at $ 47,500 he tells my friend let me call you right back..and then again ignores his calls finally telling my friend he wants to see the car stay local and sell it to his other friend, ALL he had to do was say YES or NO... not jerk the guy around, just to work the amount with someone else. Doug

I thought the purpose of these forums were to HELP one another, not play us against one another. I have NO use for people that sit back to take the free ride to benefit them selves. I don't think any of us would have like our time wasted.

Just my .02 cents

I'm with Tommy here. Lets not dogpile Rob here, there are 2 sides to every story and the side presented so far doesn't appear to be definitive. If Dick K. has a problem let him contact Rob offline!

HEY FELLOW MEMBERS LES KITTRELL HERE. I WON THE BID AND I WAS THE ONE WHO WAS UNABLE TO COMPLETTE THE DEAL WITHIN THE TIME FRAME ALLOWED. AND SO I FELT IT RIGHT TO FOREIT THE DEPOSIT. BUT LET ME SAY ROB WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO HELP ME COMPLETTE THE DEAL. THE FRIST PORBLEM WAS THE ENCLOSED TRAILER I HAD LINED UP TO RETRIVE THE CAR WAS NOT READY FOR THE ROAD TRIP. AND AS TAX TIME APROACHED MY ACCTUANT INFORMED ME THAT I WAS GOING TO OWE A LARGE AMOUNT TO UNCLE SAM. SO I FELT IT BEST AT THAT TIME SINCE ROB WAS WORKING SO HARD TO LINE UP TRANSPORTION THAT I BACK OUT AND LET HIM SEE IF COULD FIND ANOTHER BUYER. I GOT MY TAXES PAID AND REVIEWED MY FUNDS AND CONTACTED ROB YESTERDAY ONLY TO FIND A DEAL HAD MADE. I SPOKE WITH ROB AGIN TODAY TO MAKE SURE THAT THE DEAL DID GO FORWARD IF NOT I WAS GOING PURCHASE THE CAR. ROB INFORMED ME HE UNDERSTOD AND HAD NO HARD FEELINGS. SO AGIN I FEEL ROB WAS TOP SHELF IN WORKING WITH ME. AND NOW FOR ME MY SEARCH CONTUINES TO FIND A 1970 CHEVELLE LS6 4 SP. SO IF ANY ONE CAN HELP ME I WOULD BE GREATFUL AND A FINDERS FEE WIL BE PAID IF THE RIGHT CAR IS FOUND. AGIN CONTRATS TO ROB AND THE NEW OWNER. I FEEL YOU GOT A GREAT DEAL AND TOP SHELF CAR
