On to valve spring replacement..pretty cool tool..worked very well!

Cool! Another tool I can borrow...What stops the valve from dropping, when the head is still bolted down? Air in the plug hole?

Forget that question/I just noticed the air hose.

I have that same spring tool. It's the best way to go if you're not pulling the heads.

Had that when working on our racecar. It needed spring replacement every other run.


Works great until someone pull the air hose for you...

replaced the rear main seal as it was leaking..got most of the cleaning done and have the cam and valvetrain back in..now to clean the pan and timing covers:
