Ricky, I was wondering if that is a pic you showed of the yenko, and who is Mike22, he knows or if he is even Thurmond's son, I'm Frank Costa "Kicker" the cartoon that use to hang on the wall of Thurmond and the kids came from me, it was done by the same guy who did the cartoon that I was to put on the back of the car. I use to take the kids in Florida for a ride in the car for ice cream. The side rear Windows were etched in a circle "in memory of Thurmond Munson Yankees #15" I had that done to the car, it was mine, I never sold it. In a court of law it states that. In fact after Thurmond died, Diana jumped into a plane and flew from Ohio to North Carolina to tell a judge that, and it also states that I would never sell the car to anybody but a Munson ! Please contact me at [email protected] THANK-YOU !

The goal is to have a public registry, with public access to basic information. This is NOT a data hoarding exercise. It is a project that is being undertaken as a service to the Supercar community. Folks who register their car(s) have the option of leaving any info that they wish out of public view (Shelby Registry does this). It is not necessary to fill out ever detail on the registration form to have your car officially registered. Ultimately, I'd love to see a published registry with pictures and all of the detailed info about each car (probably a fee to off set expenses there). I'm getting some really neat "as found" pictures back.

OK - sounds like we should register cars through 1973 for now. Let's go with it - it's your community registry, I'm just the clerk!

A lot of registration forms have been going out - and dozens returned already. Keep it up!!!!

Bump - We've got mostly COPO Camaros and Chevelles so far (including Yenkos). With some really neat photos included. If you want to register your car (or a car that you owned in the past) - PM me your email address and I'll get a registration form out to you.

I just thought that I'd point out that Charley got the registration link working. If you want to register your car, you can click on the "Register your Supercar with the Supercar Registry" line on the SYC home page. A request form will pop up for you to submit. It's easy!!!!

Registry update - There are currently 760 VINs on the Supercar spreadsheet (398 VINs for 1969 Camaros). We are trying to get the data complete enough to post the first iteration of the public list. If you want your car included, please send in your completed registration form. You do not need to fill in every blank on the form to be registered (it would be nice though!). If you're not sure if your car is registered, you can email me at [email protected] to check (please use email, PM box fills up too quickly).
Thanks & have a GREAT Christmas!
