I'm not the ultimate "numbers" kind of guy anymore and the car is still sharp. However, the price needs to reflect these inconsistancies and question marks.

You know, if a lot of these sellers would just be honest and "let the quality of the car" speak for itself it would probably sell for a decent price. I mentioned earlier that if I was in the market right now I would be very much interested in this car. However, from an ethical standpoint, I would not be able to deal with a seller like this. Another "thumbs up" to Bulletin Boards like this where people can get some usefull feedback.

You know, with all the RED FLAGS being waved over restamps and faked documentation, maybe I'm better off having a CE Block and no documentation, but some decent past history. That way there is no need to be ambiguous and just let the car stand on its own merits.

A friend of mine went to see it when he was shopping for a 70 R/S Z28. He said it's a fake. End of story. I'm sick of this fake F'n $hit all the time. I say lock em up with bubba for 5 years.

Im with you 100%, I bet there are 20-30 new numbers matching cars built every day..Who was the one who said "out of the 19,000 1969 Z/28's built there are still 50,000 on the road today"

You know how bad it is, if they made 50 zillion 1978 Z/28's and 19,000 69 Z/28's why are there 10 times the amount of 69's for sale..
