Car went 12.0's on the street with 4:10's and 7" slicks before we went further with the cam and ring movement. I paid $393.00 for the short block back in 1971. An old Engle roller and some first design angle plug heads. 750 double pumper Holley on a Tarantula intake. Wide Muncie box with Trans End gears with 5.13's in the back. fastest was 121.00mph. Was about to change the rear gears but had enough.
