Does anyone have information on the number 20 car? What does the dealer code reference?

Ron, it's a shame he spent all that money on it when it would have made a gorgeous "SS" or "RS".

Notice no provision on the floor pans for the factory radius rod?

Allthough for 45k you cant restore a car for that price so even though it might not be a z,yes it would have made a nice SS/RS clone.Risky selling it as a real 67 Z if you cant prove it.

As long as the trim tag is the original, w/ 4P and 3L wasn't it an SS/RS already just not one of the early Z's unless solidly substantiated?.

This was the owners reply to me.
Roger,
I have no docs but I was able to trace it back to the 2nd owner, I'm number 5.
It is #20 of the first 25. I didn't even know about the Z registry until I listed the car and someone told me about it.

Without the provison for the radius rod in a Jan car, I would think it was originally a 275hp 327 car (L30)???

the original owner of my 67 rs/ss told me that he brought the car back to the dealership to have the radius arm installed. it is a 12D production date.

To clarify this one, the basic result using info above is 4P/3L cowl tag cannot be original to this car?.
