Dave House (ngtflyr) and I own the 'cuda together. We had both wanted to own one forever and splitting it halfsies made it (more) affordable. We picked it up 5 years ago in a trade with Bill Weimann. As for the 4.10 gears in an auto Hemi, you had to seek it out cause the regular gears and rear on a Hemi auto was an 8 and 3/4 axle with 3.54 gears (maybe 3.23?). Original owner wanted the bulletproof Dana 60 with 4.10 gears and paid for it - not cheap. Don't know of the oil return issues, but suspect Chrysler engineers wouldn't put a 4.10 behind their hemi autos without some severe duty testing.

those are great pictures. It really shows how much lower the cuda is than the chevelle, way more than I thought until you look at the headon shots. The cuda looks like a low rider next to the chevelle [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif[/img] Fog lights on the cuda are below the level of the license plate frame on the chevelle...
