When and where did you say the plan is to show the finished car? I know myself and many others can't wait to see it.

I went to see the car this weekend at Arone Restoration and as always the car looked awesome. I met Mark who has done a lot of the work on the car. Great young man. I will post some updated photos. All of the remaining parts are back from the chemical strippers. The undercarriage and subframe are ready for paint, and the body will be getting 1 more final coat of primer.

A realistic goal if everything goes according to plan...would be to debut it at MCACN 2019.
We don’t want to compromise any portion of the restoration so I should have a better answer to your question next spring 2019. Until then I will continue to post updated photos of this remarkable car and it’s history with John Weaver the original owner. |

With such a clean rust free body we wanted to chemical dip all panels and parts that we could. The cost vs. labor was very reasonable...only $978 for everything.

I am sure it will bring back fond memories of him and his dad the day that they bought it new and he will have plenty of good stories because his memory is very sharp

I wanted to post photos of the original holes in the tail pan for the Yenko emblem and 427 emblem with spacing. This being a 67 Yenko ...but being converted in mid March 1968 ..it received the 68 version of the badges.
