Could be a relative, but I don't see any link to St Paul, MN. He would have been in college at the time I worked for the local company.

Little bit of progress this weekend.

I got the exterior aluminum trim pieces (along with the bench seat trim) packaged up and sent out this morning to be restored - made a special shipping tube out of 4" PVC at work for the exterior trim - the tube had to be 8' long to fit the rear 1/4 panel trim pieces in. Had the Regal at work Friday when the shipping tube was done being made up and decided to stuff them in the car to get them home for the weekend rather than wait (or take a truck home). Dad would have done the same thing lol......

Anyways - trim is shipped out today and should be back in a month or so, Thanks Bill S. for the lead on the trim guy. Probably would have been cheaper to take you and Jan up on your offer to drop them off and visit but no time right now.

Other minor item I did was clean up the hardware for the wheel studs and spindle bolts.

When doing the Chevelle underhood clean up a few years back I bought a small Eastwood tumbler. I threw everything in with the media and let it run a few hours on the patio - just need a final clean and detail now.

Yesterday I picked up the new front brake shoes and today I ordered the last of what I think I need for parts - the rear trunk panel and cove trim along with the bench seat shifter boot and ring.

The trim is on it's way back to me - sneak peak pic from the restorer Gordon Duda.......before and after side by side.

Still working on finding an anodizer.

Did some detail work on the hub assemblies last night. Little by little...

Seat trim showed up today - looks great. The 4th piece I have and is NOS so it didn't need to be restored.

Took me an hour to unwrap the moldings - lots of protective tape and plastic but look so good they don't even look like the same ones I sent.

Scheduling time with the anodizer for a couple weeks out.
