As a follow up: Yes, that one DJ is wearing a Ronald Reagan facemask... not sure why other than it was hip to do in 1982...

Also, the car was recently restored by Box Auto Body in that third photo and apparently the antenna hole was already in the replacement fender bought at the dealer and installed there. The hockey stick stripes weren't reapplied and it was still wearing the 1967 rallys my dad installed very early in the car's life with the flat disc brake derby caps...

It's a great memory, that ride in the parade... was a cool experience for 11 year old me.

I’ll throw a pic or two of my RAIV bird in here
Pontiaction w blue and red is from 69 race season. All blue Pontiaction is from
70 race season. I raced the car myself for about 15 years. Last pic is island dragway part of the NETO racing program which was a lot of fun.

There was a 68 RAII GTO and a 70-73 firebird pro stocker too.
I have the drive train from the 70 up pro stock car as well as the block from the 68 RAII GTO, my car had its short block swapped w the RAII that had been blueprinted and balanced by jack Merkel for the previous season. (Cost saving measure and the GTO Ran well so guess they figured why mess w success .) the ram air V pro stock dual quad engine is currently in the car
But the SR RAIV short block from Stephens is at the machine shop so will get a RAIV back in there soon. Hard to take the RAV engine out but eventually I’ll (hopefully) resurrect the 70 pro stocker as well.

Technically there was a 64 GTO as well but it was driven by Bob gaudreau and not owned by stephens just sponsored.
