Nils, mine was plain as day! I bought it off ebay paired with a front lift which was stamped with the part number listed above..

On a somewhat related topic,somebody asked me what the purpose of that small hole was,on the 1970 BB engine lift hook.
I explained it to them,but they still didn't quite understand. So I relayed the 1970 Orange Book explanation to them,and thought I would repeat it here.

 New for 1970 was this Fuel Filter support rod,#3967498. It was supposed to be used on the 1970 454 Chevrolet Passenger & Camaro 402 & Nova 402 vehicles w/Vapor Bypass..It saw only one year of useage,before being discontinued the following model year.I have only witnessed it on 1970 Passenger vehicles myself.

o.k. i know on the 69's the rear hook goes on the back of the passenger head.
but what about the 70 model. back intake bolt or back of head? my back one has an angle like it belongs on the intake.
