From what I can see of the dashboard, that custom probably IS a 56 Olds. Looks like Packard tail lights out back. Those 'Custom' guys like to keep everybody guessing

AZ Cruise Nights really do take some getting used to. The other 95% of the country the Shows and Cruise Nights are in full swing in the summer, but attendance drops off at the ones in AZ because it's too hot ! September thru May it's really happenin' though

Hey Bruce......empty your mail box!!!!!!!

That Hemi '67 GTX convertible has got to be super-rare. Anyone know how many were built?

According to this website... http://www.musclecarclub.com/musclec...s-rarest.shtml

RAREST MUSCLECARS

# YEAR/ MODEL BODY STYLE ENGINE TOTAL MT AUTO

17 1967 Ply Belv. GTX Conv. 426 Hemi 17 7 10

or 17 total 7 manual transmissions and 10 automatics!

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow, 1 of 17! That's basically as rare as a '67 L88 Corvette. I'd be afraid to drive something that rare on the street!

I see a bunch of mistakes, or Typo’s in their Sec Gen 1970 Camaro section. I am sure the rest are wrong as well.

The Z28 saw the most radical change -- an all new 350 cid engine know as the LT-1 350. It was rated at 360bhp (it had a rating of 370bhp when installed in Corvettes). This engine proved much more tractable, reliable, and generally outperformed the 302 engine of old. It was also available with an automatic transmission, the first time for the Z28.
Production:
RS: 27,136
SS: 12,476 (350/300: 10,012, 402/325: 1,864 402/350: 600)
Z-28: 7,733

Engines:
250 I6 155 bhp @ 4200 rpm, 235 lb-ft @ 1600 rpm.
307 V8 200 bhp @ 4600 rpm, 300 lb-ft @ 2400 rpm.
L-65 350 V8 250 bhp @ 4800 rpm, 345 lb-ft @ 2800 rpm.
Z28: 350 V8 360 bhp @ 6000 rpm, 380 lb-ft @ 4000 rpm.
SS350: 350 V8 300 bhp @ 4800 rpm, 380 lb-ft @ 3200 rpm.
SS396: L-78 402 V8 350 bhp @ 5200 rpm, 415 lb-ft @ 3400 rpm.
SS396: 402 V8 375 bhp @ 5600 rpm, 415 lb-ft @ 3600 rpm.

Performance:
Z-28: 350/360: 0-60 in 6.1 sec, 1/4 mile in 14.4 sec @ 99.1mph.
