Ahh, Butternut Yellow. Goes well with that Chevy Orange L72. I like those silver-spoked mags.

I am included in those thousand people who love stories like that. Nothing like scoring a 69 BY Yenko Chevelle, the original block, with good friends to boot! Oh by the way George, thanks for the generous offer of sending out those free Dill caps. Cheers!!

that is without a doubt a great story...isn't it great how these mechanized wonders draw people from all walks of life together...short story...my wife has a client that contacted her to represent the sale of a 69 Yenko Chevelle...not an ordinary Yenko as none of them realy are..but one of 3 and the only survivor with an L88 that was raced by Yenko himself...Im stealing Georges' thunder so if anyone wants me to post the story.....I will......again..that is a beautiful Chevelle and great story..

If that's the New Jersey car, I would advise your wife to run the other way...

I don't know why you would say to run away...that car was in the condition it was last raced by Yenko.....and Reggie Jackson wanted it......so what was wrong with it...sorry for hijacking the post......

For starters, it had a bogus window sticker, it was an L71 not an L88, Don didn't race it...do a search, there's a few threads about it here...
