It is a cool car. Couldn't have been too many ordered in black that year.

----I bought a 73 black RS Z from the original owner sometime around 75. He was told by his dealer that he could not order a black 73 so he ordered a dark green one and had it painted black before picking it up brand new. He really wanted a black Z!...….Bill S

73 Z28 L82 will run 6K RPM all day. L82 is a Corvette engine, the Z28 never got the L designation and was referred to "Special Z28 engine". Same with the LT1

Sold for 22100. I didnt bid enough. Got a little concerned getting it hauled across country

I seriously doubt that it sold for $22100. I looked at it back in the spring at the dealer in PA. He wouldn’t take less than $35k. It was at a dealer named Jackson Auto Sales. I could be wrong of course, but just seems odd .

I just looked, it’s still on the Jackson Auto Sales site in Pennsylvania for $35900. Looks like car is still there.

I agree It seems odd someone who presumably recently purchased would sell it for 13k less. Thanks for the update...
