Steve like you I had many GM cars before I got my first Mopar. You will not be disappointed. In my opinion the best engineered drivetrain back in the day. My experience with Mopars has all been big block automatics, and WOW fun to drive and pull so hard. The torqueflights are shifting monsters. So rugged and fun to spin the tires when shifting with no shift kits!
That is a beautiful car and on my bucket list to get before too much longer. Enjoy and what a great car!

Very nice. I think the AAR had the best looking hood of all the muscle cars.

Great acquisition Steve! I love body-colored matching interiors.

Some minor advice:
1) Leave the hood unlatched and unpinned when it's stored. Otherwise the fiberglass hood will bow in the middle - similar to the dreaded hood bow on the Firebirds with the fiberglass Formula hood.
2) Very Important on Mopars with body colored engine compartments: if that is a lead/acid original style repro battery, get rid of it immediately and get the sealed AGM version. The acid vapors that vent out the top will permanently stain the red paint on the inner fenders around the battery and get absorbed by the fiberglass hood.

My second car was a 69 340 dodge dart swinger. That was a nice running car

It would be awesomer if you change the tires. Don't get me wrong, I like BFG's.
