That is insane. I see that's obviously in CA...looks like a eucalyptus tree...my aunt had a giant one fall on her house during a wind storm...just missed my 69 Camaro that was parked against her house.

Somebody will buy the carcass, the parts left that can be salvaged will be worth some money. Just make sure the vin and trim tag get torched.

Wow, that really sucks. Hopefully she can take the insurance money and find another.

If she has Comprehensive Coverage - that would cover an Act Of God - wind blows a tree over, flooding; any accident or event not influenced by man.

That must have been a beautiful car.

I passed the all your condolences on to my friend. She appreciates it. Nobody was in the car at the time. It was parked and there was a Mazda next to it that got a small dent. The guy who owned it was ticked off over that. In my mind it should've been the Mazda to get flattened. The tree that fell was at a golf course and some of trees were slated to be removed. That area hadn't been roped off yet. She's been getting lots of advice on what to do, including from myself. I'd like to see some "organ transplants" take place, but she doesn't know if the insurance company will let her buy it back yet. If they do she'd be willing to sell the complete car, well, what's left in the pictures. It's something that would have to happen pretty quickly as she doesn't have enough room. I'll be getting some more pictures. It's been a bummer...

What a shame and freak of natures bad luck. Hopefully she was well insured and can replace it with a similar ride though it will never be the same. Sorry to hear, just glad she was not in the car!

What a loss! I can't imagine how she felt when that happened. Those pictures made me wince. I hope she can find a good replacement.

Ugh... I felt like I was gonna puke when I spilled a bucket of rocks on my Camaro (long story). I can only imagine how she felt when she saw this. So sorry...
