There are no Americans pushing this crap. There are plenty of scumbags that live in America pushing this crap though.

Sorry but most of us here are all immigrants if you dig back far enough and I have no problem w/ someone who wants peace/freedom to raise their families here in the US and Canada also is wanting/willing to leave the grief of their old worlds behind them.
What I don't get is how so many who flee countries of strife don't seem to appreciate peace/freedom etc and want to kiss the soil and salute the Flags of their new homes also keep it free of the type of individuals and BS they fled from...not bring grief/customs/unsavory characters over here to North America thus ruining this world too?

Pete, it comes down to assimilation. I believe it's fine to keep some of your customs and love of your native country of course, but if you come to America, you should want to become part of America, strive to meet your version of the American dream, and be a contributing member of society, and all of that includes learning English. I'm from an immigrant-heavy (including many, many illegal immigrants) who are happy to function in a gray area of America, and that's unacceptable. Register, pay taxes, become part of the Great Experiment. Just my opinion.

I think you'll find a majority of the pot stirrers of today were born here and have never set foot out of their ghetto. I'll leave politics out of this... Actual immigrants who come to this country legally I think you'll find are more American then half the people who have lived here their whole lives. I think they probably appreciate the Constitution and Bill of Rights more than most people know.
