I had a set built over the winter for a big block Chevelle. If anyone is interested PM me and I will try to dig up his contact info.

I've been looking for a set of these for my 1969 Z/28 and haven't had any luck, so I ended up building my own. Quite an interesting experiment. Just fired it up a few weeks ago and haven't had a chance to shake down the car yet (too busy working).

They sound good with the 302 but are not as loud as I was hoping for at idle. FYI - I kept the stock chambered exhaust system so far but may eliminate the chambered sections behind the rear diff as my next experiment.

Here's some pics of my adventure... Charlie

Not too bad for a rookie:

Tom... what car is going to end up with the ZL1 (or is it in something already)?

Pretty cool piece of garage art!

super nice fit on those fabbed headers....what brand did you start with?

John, the ZL 1 is in Canada....I sold it a few years ago to be put in some kind of super rare 69 Camaro. In those pics are actually 2 engines. My former Zl 1 & an ultra rare Can_Am that the shop built for a customer to place in an old Yenko car.
