It is my understanding that these items only came on the Z28 and L78 cars. L78 is also a rare piece and highly sought after. I may be wrong and if so I look forward to the education that this post will bring.

Re: 1968 Z28 what to look for?
Not all 68 Z28's had stripes. I ordered a British Green one without stripes and got it that way. I don't think that this was uncommon, to not have stripes, either.

Re: 1968 Z28 what to look for?
Im going to check it out again, good chance its nothing but from what I gather I will look at fuel line glove box lid speedo cable exit steering (manual car) for quick ratio (does anyone know the casting numbers?) and tachometer.

Re: 1968 Z28 what to look for?
No one part will 100% guarantee that you have a '68 Z28, especially 45 years after it was built. The car itself, the history and the summation of the original cumulative parts etc...can help narrow the possibilities.
I have seen 1968 15"glove box wheel stickers on cars that never actually came with 15"s. 3/8" line was also 2bbl V8s. |

Good call on the 2bbl.
I have found that to be true also.. |

Re: 1968 Z28 what to look for?
Also, look for signs of factory dual exhaust.
68 Z28 came with 15x6 wheels from the factory.

"(does anyone know the casting numbers?) If I remember right the quick ratio pitman arm ended in 6225 or 225.
