For those of us that cannot visit in person, fear not as Google has us covered.
Click on the following link and select "street view". Enjoy the historic Yenko Chevrolet as if you were standing in the street directly in from of it. Yenko Chevrolet Street View Here is the dealership back in the day: ![]() |

Is there no one (on this site or even alive) that worked at the dealership that could provide these details?
IE: where the satellite lot was exactly? What other buildings or property was a part of the dealership? It looks like it would have been bigger. I love historical stuff like this, even though this isn't that old, history wise. <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: talwell</div><div class="ubbcode-body">For those of us that cannot visit in person, fear not as Google has us covered. I'd like to take a road trip out to see it some time. I visted Mr. Norm's a few years ago. Sitting at the curb right in front of the old showroom was, as Marlin said, eerie.

I don't know when the google street view photo's were taken, but this does not look like a very prosperous part of Canonsburg.

I always understood the pic as being from out back to the left side but comparing the street view and terrain elevation across the street it very well could be...does anyone know for sure?.
And how far back does operation of the DQ across the street go?. Also what was the site contaminated w/ radiation stories a few years back all about?. ~ Pete

I cannot believe with all of the interest in these cars that no one here has set up a non-profit and bought this place as a museum!!!!
The building seems like it is still quite intact and could be restored.

Found the thread w/ the note about the radiation thing..
Note what's written below the famous lot pic!. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbt...348&page=1 Online info indicates the radiation part of the story is absolutely true but not necessarily on any of the property Yenko's dealership was actually located on.. Google the two words canonsburg and radiation...wow!. Also the holding lot location may not be behind or across the street but actually a block or so away?. Here's a couple more photos below...thanks to Joe Barr!. Note the Grumman style Van in the holding lot pic...Copo 'SWAT' vehicle?. ~ Pete ![]() ![]()

If that's a bridge I see in Joe's photo, between the car lot and the white house in the distance, the photo was probably taken near the river behind the dealership.
