You are both right. She told me there was a parts list that went with the car but many items did not come back when the car did and she remembers these being on it..........

The difference in the hood lip moldings is that the assembly line and early over the counter part had caged threaded bolts in the molding itself, the later part run was changed with less "bolts" in the molding and the bolts were changed to bare studs with twist nuts to attach. Obviously the older ones are more desirable for correct restorations

Thanks for looking Rick,
I didnt think that they were that hard to find, I guess they are. The repos are not very good. I just bought one from a parts place and they claim to be closer to NOS. We will see! |
