That is kick-a** that the 2nd owner bought herself a 454 with an M22. There has got to be some good stories behind that!

Very nice car I looked it over at Mecum.
P.S. Sam I also bought your old 9,000 Mile Hemi Road Runner at the sale.. very cool car!

[/ QUOTE ] Not to hijack the thread, but that 70 Road Runner was the buy of the century! $77,000 for a 9000-mile 70 hemi orange, Hemi Road Runner. I remember that car from the 1985 or 86 Mopar Nationals after it was just found - amazing car! Good luck with it.

I remember that Hemi RR from when it was in my garage!
 Great car, one of the few non-mulletized Mopars out there. I saw it in Monterey at the RM sale and a Mecum, was hoping it would go to a good home. Mission accomplished! Congrats, Andy. -Colin

This one baffled me at that price  . Talk about rare and all there. The original owner is a gem! Enjoy it. I would have bot it back if I had the dough. BTW, the write up was sketchy if I recall particularly about the tranny. I was not sure it was original, but Galen verified it in fact was and put it in writing for me as part of his visual inspection. Entire power train is BORN WITH!
