Default Re: correct paint on 1969 camaro rear end

There are several vintage photos in period car magazines of t-bar installation, etc on 1st gen Camaros and in all with visible drums they are black and shiny. Hot Rod had a good photo of their '69 Z/28 test car getting bars for one.

Also John Z worked there and has stated axles were painted complete w/drums. The lines were not in place; the pinion flange was masked with a sleeve.

Think of the cast-blast you will save.
