Any Long Islanders recognize these trains? They sat in a day care center on Peninsula Blvd
and Ocean Ave for 30+ years! The day care center has been replaced by an assisted living center. - - ![]() - Sure, they were part of Camp Tanglewood. The tanglewood preserve still exists to the east of the old camp. I think you can go there for a late-night punch in the head or maybe a bag of crack. ![]() |
