With the Chevelle show established in Maryland, not much in the Chevelle world shows up that's for sure. Once years ago, other marks had "mini-nats" during GM. The Novas did it and had a good turnout, BUT you would be lucky to see ten Novas today. The Ford guys make the GM guys look bad. There will be more Merkurs than Buick, Olds and Pontiac combined. The Camaro show field is the ONLY thing keeping that show afloat. Its a dirty fithy dust bowl with freaky summer storms that blow in. It is not on my must do list...BKH

I went last year for the first time, was not impressed.
And for sure the Camaro's are the only strong point of that show. Mike |

The Nova Club held a mini-nats there the first or second year, actually took home the 'Club Participation' award! However, the Nova club prefers a smaller, more intimate venue on the grounds of a hotel - as it fosters the 'family' atmosphere that has proved successful for the last 27 years! (How many single marque car clubs can boast about that type of longevity?!) It's also a busy time of year, there are a lot of shows trying to snag your car.
I like going to the Camaro Nationals - with a few other GM brands tagging along! ![]()

I'm looking forward to the GM Nats this coming weekend at Carlisle and seeing some friends. I'll be at my normal spots (L-44) most of Fri. and all of Sat. Feel free to stop by for a cold one of your choice.
Also, if you cruise through Bldg.T and see a freshly restored '61 409 Super Sport, please stop by and say hello to the owner. Tell him I think he's a PITA But then tell him I'm kidding. ![]() ![]() |

Starving myself for cheesesteaks! If anyone sees me (Friday) who I have yet to meet, god knows my mug has been all over here. Please stop me and say hi. I'll be with BBBenny and Sammy.
