Default Re: Weatherstripping

Trunk weatherstripping has had many design & part number changes over the decades.
This particular # fits nearly every single GM vehicle, except Elcamino & Station Wagon,up to the 1990's..but that doesn't mean it is what they used on every single car when they were each built in their day.
3060942 is the latest new world generic GM number.
That one was preceded by Chevrolet #9825829 in 1971.
That one was preceded by Chevrolet #8723802 in 1970.
That one was preceded by Chevrolet #4468625 in 1967.

Don't be fooled into believing just because something has a GM label on it,means it was the same exact part & material used back in the day...many vendors are hoping you do,and that's the problem.
