So for 2009 the Challenger HP is going down from 425 to 375??? I read that on the VCA sight but thought I read it wrong and didn't comment. So what is the Dodge business plan? Continually reduce HP and performance as a way of competing in the marketplace for performance vehicles???

Johnny, the GT 500 is the Shelby GT 500 I just don't call it the Shelby because he has nothing to do with it other than loaning Ford his name it's in my opinion a SVT Mustang badged as a Shelby. He is building 319 HP versions at his factory called the Shelby SC or something derived from the 300 HP base Mustang. He(Shelby) is also building 1000 units of the GT500 KR which increases HP to 540 with some suspension tweaks.
