Default Re: RT & SE Challenger

The mistake from my point of view is the choice to install the 425 HP "station wagon" motor currently used in the four door Charger making it immediately down 75 HP to it's nearest competitor the Mustang GT 500. I understand having a 425 HP motor in the family oriented four door Charger but question the wisdom of building a new two door pure performance oriented Challenger with 425 HP motor?

The two pedal configuration really doesn't bother me. It's the lack of 500HP that cause me to pass on the Challenger. I have a 70 HEMI Challenger and was really looking forward to the new modern version to park next to it, so I am not a Dodge basher.

I don't think Chevy is going to roll out this new camaro and immediately concede 75 HP to the Mustang.
