Rick,
Are you saying that Muncie's assembly date stamp is the MODEL year and not the Calendar year of assembly? IF they were building SERVICE PARTS, ie: a replacement trans, why would they stamp it with a model year when it's not shipped to an assembly plant for a new vehicle? I find it much easier to believe the date of assembly was Aug '69, but that conflicts with CT8. Verne ![]() |
