When Terry Pennington changed the exhaust on his wifes pure stock 69 L88 drag race Corvette from chambered side pipes to 2 1/2" mandrel bent pipes with Dynaflow mufflers, the car picked up a full 8 tenths
 second in the quarter mile. It takes some serious horsepower to make that much difference.
