Rich,
You're right about noticing the tag, but in the case I had, the buyer was in Canada, but he had me ship to a restoration shop in MI. I think the shop may have been playing games or they just misplaced it. Either way, proof is proof, and I wasn't bothered again. The PO sometimes does make mistakes too. One day, a neighbor gave me a package addressed to me. It had a Delivery Confirmation tag on it but was delivered to him! ![]() Verne |

[/ QUOTE ] I made a deal a couple years back to sell one of my vintage racing snowmobiles to a known reputable buyer and he sent a Money Order to me w/ 'Delivery Confirmation' that didn't arrive?. All was filled out properly and even noted as delivered but following up w/ the Post Office revealed the Postal guys fill it out as delivered while at the depot when the distribution guy passes it to the letter carrier...not when delivered to the address!. It never did show up and the Postal people were no help and admitted to me that 'Delivery Confirmation' is just a he says-she says thing and you really need to pay the additional buck or whatever and go for the 'signed for when delivered' option to have any real bite!. ![]() ~ Pete

I have had many packages left on my back porch by the Postman with the Delivery Confirmation tag still attached.
It's no different with UPS or FedEx, they just leave the deliveries on the front porch, tap on the door and are gone.

I had three bad ebay deals this year. Paid all three with Paypal and was able to get money back on 2 of the three. One deal was clearly fraud, collected money with no intent to ship the item (got my money back from paypal); second one was an NOS grille which ended up to be used, seller used all fake shipping and personal information (I ate that one) and the last one was an NOS steering coupler from a reputable dealer (took some work, but got the money back). All in all, I'm out about $350 for the year. I was going to leave negative feedback on the money loser deal, but figured that means I'll get one too.
I'm a little more careful now. I really don't like paypal, but it has allowed me some recourse on the bad deals. Phil Woj. |

The best is usps signature confirmation which I send with higher dollar sales.. I recently bought a Chevy dealer decal which took almost a month to get and the seller stated it was sent first class usps mail. The seller had good feedback and I didn't think I was getting stiffed. I waited patiently and sent the seller an e-mail after about 2 weeks. He assured me he sent it and advised I wait patiently. Sure enough it came 2 weeks later. It all worked out and was a post office goof up. It was stamped as mailed exactly when the seller stated he shipped it also. So it does happen.... I left positive feedback as did he.
Marlin, I think you are "s.o.l." on your moldings if they have not been received since April.... THAT SUCKS..... Rich

I just want to know how to spell [censored] without being [censored] censored. I get [censored] tired of being censored just for trying to express myself with a simple word such as [censored].
