Thanks guys. Looks like I should check out the cheap options at Harbor Freight and Walmart first.
 Here's the aluminum Sears jack. Click on the reviews to read about the POS. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00950239000P (and I normally like Sears stuff....)
