Default Re: New project coming along

Thanks for sharing that story Mark. We tend to forget these cars are 40 years old and have some history behind them. Who would have thought, 30 years ago, that someone running out of gas in front of your house, would be discussed on this internet thing in 2008

Couple progress pictures. Been taking parts out of storage containers, and blasting, repainting, rebuilding, etc. Some parts needed rebuilding like the steering column, brake/clutch pedals, etc. The seats have simply been sat in way too much. I striped them down and replaced all the springs. They will be recovered sometime before they're needed. I starting to run out of parts to redo. I guess thats a god thing, but it also means I can't put the body work off much longer. I have a quarter panel coming. ( thanks Greg Cullum/Jim Hanke) Still looking for a good right side door/or skin (HINT).

Anyway, just thought I'd post these pics before the chassis and all the finished parts are put into a car bag (thanks Albert for the extra car bag) and stored till the body is finished and can be reunited with the chassis.
