At first I thought 61 impala, then early corvette and finally corvair but cannot find the exact match. I have a part number if that will help 5950199 but I cannot find that either in my books.
Thanks For the help Joe ![]() |

Not in my books either. Don't think it's Chevy, unless it's LARGE truck. The p/n would put in the '58-'59 range.

59 Chev ? 64 Pontiac ? [/ QUOTE ] Thanks for the feedback. 59 chev is real close but the 4 mounting holes are in the wrong spots. 64 pontiac gto is about the closest but still not right. I am lost on this one. ![]() |

May be suggesting the obvious, but how about Canadian Pontiac?
Of course, my 58 Pontiac parts book doesn't seem to cover those. ![]() |

Looks real familiar Joe and although it does look a lot like a bunch of Poncho applications, I think it may be for something like a GM Bus...not a 'Fishbowl' City bus but a HiWay Coach like GM/MCI built for a buncha' years for Greyhound and others?.

Joe,
The fact that it's in such a late box ('70s style) and still has the same p/n proves it's not Chevy car or light truck, or Vette, as it's not in my books. BY that I mean that number would be in my books. Looking at some other similar numbers, I now believe it could be back to '55 vintage. If it's not BOP I"d have to believe it's BIG truck. Is that p/n on the box or just molded into the part? Verne |

Here's a link to some of the buses I was thinking of.. Click on the ninth picture down, the Calgary Airport one...looks close even the mounting holes?.

I think that is it Pete. Thanks. Now I have to find someone doing a frame off on one of those
and I can sell him a pair of NOS headlight bezels. I only paid 20.00 for the pair so it was worth a shot. Guy bought them for his 61 impala which they didnot fit and he sold them to a guy with a corvair then I got them. Thanks again ![]() |
