Actually if the gentleman your dealing with is going by the casting date on the block the 1965 hemi engine may be a street hemi. Latest 1965 race hemi car production was July 14th, 1965. At some point in 1965 the hemi's then became street hemi's put in the 66 cars. The 1965 race hemi should have aluminum heads too, although that's easy to change.
Depending on the 64 fury condition(and engine) it would be a decent deal. The $90,000 clone figure seems a little steep to me(unless your a Barrett Jackson believer or a 64 car with original aluminum pieces). If you back out tell your friend I have a nice GOBI Biege 70 SS Nova(orig Big Block) that I'd trade him. Good Luck, Alex

Here's mine.. rust free okie car, just a 350horse though, auto, 12 bolt. I'd rather trade mine for the 64 fury tough. When I decide to sell the nova I'll put it in the for sale section. I'm really looking for an early 65 block to put in my original 65 plymouth hemi car.
The gentlemans 68 sounds like a bad hombre. I'd love to see a picture of that one. FYI,Alex

Nice car Jeff!
Allen...love the oval port big block chebbie's ,just lots of bigger L-72,79,88 on this site. Ran a 427/390 horse vette for 3 years in superstock, alot easier to run under the index then the square port stuff. Q-Jet was alot easier too than the holleys. Having fun, Alex
