The determining factor is going to be which 396? What has been done other than taking the front end apart? Has the paint been removed from anything? Has someone gone crazy with a bug bomb on the subframe? Firewall?

I would try to pick it up if the price is right. Even without original motor it is still a 1969 BB camaro. The dealers sometimes installed what they had under warranty instead of ordering the original motor. In those days that was considered and up grade. Some of the 69 Z/28's received LT-1's also for warranty. Original sheetmetal, paint, correct origianl bolts, brackets and interior is what I love to hear also.

The car is all original including Paint(Hugger Orage)and the interior is all still installed and looks like brand new. The only thing in question is the front subframe finish.
