[ QUOTE ]
The credit for geting McClurg to cover a SCR goes to HawaiianCamaro. Credit for getting Bob to return goes to the many car owners who each year graciously allow Bob to shoot their cars. ![]() After the first SCR that Bob covered, which resulted in 5-6 articles, he told me that was just the beginning. Boy was he right. Already there have been 12+ features from SCR9, and I know of at least 3 more due to come out any time. [/ QUOTE ] Also........Bob has published a book with his photograph's that's a pictorial history of Drag Racing from the 60's on..........all the early days of Jr. Fuel cars, Top Fuel Cars, A/fx cars, Funny cars etc......Lions, Irwindale, he's got pictures of them all.... If you are into or missed that part of Racing History, I highly recommend getting a copy of Bob's book .....sit down......open the book......and drift back in time.... Man...I can still smell the Nitro and hear the "Crackling" exhaust from the Fueler's....."Way Cool" ![]() Ken ![]()
