[/ QUOTE ] Well I can tell you with 100% certainty that the latch screws and striker on my 1967 03D Norwood car were not painted. Since it was mentioned, my deck lid latch is painted body color. And I just reviewed an original paint LA built 67 RS/SS and the deck lid latch was unpainted. Don't know.  Rick H.
