He's been doing that for Corvettes since the early 80's and everybody knows about it...so I don't think he's too worried about getting caught

Just to be clear...the person I am refering to that has been stamping VIN's, trim tags and build sheets for years is the guy in this ebay listing, not the guy selling the LS6 motor!!! Anyone who as been around Corvettes knows who I am talking about...

I've known the guy who is selling the motor for nearly 30 years and if he says it's the real deal, it's the real deal in my opinion! Sorry for any confusion I caused you locals

Am I wrong or is there a number missing from the LS6 engine stamping? My stamp reads, "TO417CRR",..for April 17th, but his stamp only has three numbers before the partial VIN.

It actually reads T0220CRV for February 20th.
